The Specialist is about the Miami Underground.  Stallone is an ex-CIA explosives expert.  Sharon Stone was great in this one.  Classy, scared, tough, sexy.  She had it all.  Stallone, a very tough guy, as always.  Nice, easy movie to watch.  Easy 110 minutes, lots of exploding, with a nice ending.  Worth the watch.

The Good Shepard - with Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, Robert Deniro.  A really long boring movie.  With such a great line-up I thought this was going to be a great watch.  Robet Deniro directed this one.  It was about the first 20 years of the CIA.  It feels like it took 20 years to watch it. If you can stay awake the entire 2 hours and 48 minutes to watch a very boring Matt Damon, good luck. I like Matt Damon and many of his movies.  I found it too complex.  Hard to follow, in between the yawns.  This one is a pure snoozefest.

As I watched this one, I started to wonder what all the fuss was about.  As time went on with the awesome costumes, and odd looking beasts, I thought, “Wow, this is really something different.”  The battles were fascinating.  Not as gory as you think they would be.  I always love cheering for a dynamic strong woman!!.  Try to watch this one a big screen, the details are incredible.

Psychological Thriller -  A little slow getting started, but towards the middle it started to move along pretty good.  A great twist at the end.  As far as Halle with long hair…. I don’t think it is her best look.  Bruce was, well Bruce.  Worth the watch.

Don’t you think it is time for Anthony Hopkins to play a different role? I mean isn’t he sick of playing the creepy,  English guy who is so briliant he gets away with everything?  Come’on Anthony give us something truly brilliant.
